Disclaimer & Terms of Use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Welcome to the website of Beyond Gardens, formerly known as Smart Yards Co-op ("Beyond Gardens," "we," "us"). Please read these terms before using the site. By using this website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Disclaimers

  • General information only. Articles, guides, workshop materials and other content on this site about plants, irrigation, greywater, rainwater, soil and hardscape are general education. They are not a design, engineering or professional recommendation for your property. Every site is different, so please talk with us before acting on it.

  • Permits and codes. Rules for greywater, irrigation, structures and grading vary by city and county and change over time. Where we describe permit requirements, that is a general summary; your local agency has the final say.

  • Rebates. We help clients apply to programs such as the Valley Water Landscape Rebate Program, but the program administrator decides eligibility, amounts and timing. We cannot guarantee that any rebate will be approved or paid.

  • Before and after photos. Photos show real Beyond Gardens projects. Living gardens change with seasons, weather, water and care, so your results will vary.

  • Testimonials. Reviews and testimonials reflect individual clients' experiences and are not a promise of the same outcome.

  • Prices and timelines. Any prices, time frames or plant availability mentioned on the site are estimates and may change. The scope, price and schedule of your project are set only by a signed written agreement.
